Cirque du Freak is one of my favorite book series. So you can imagine my surprise when I heard they were going to make a movie. And you can imagine my disgust when I actually saw what they had in mind. They're turning it into some... teen comedy! Look, Cirque du Freak should be bloody and dark, not lame laughs! Did Darren Shan really approve of such a warping of his novel?

I was cleaning out the cupboard, and I found a bottle of whiskey, and I've never tried it before (I'm 21, its legal), so I took a sip. Bleagh! It tasted like cough syrup!
